My own version of casual dressing usually involves denim. My sartorial picks have been monotonous lately, aka white, black, denims. My shopping loots for the past few weeks was nothing but basics. Everything that you can seem to pair for each piece existing in my closet. Not so sure if my style have just been evolving to practical or bland.

Blue Palms
Sunday, December 13, 2015
It's a good Sunday morning and I'm feeling productive so here's a back to back update for my blog which has been stagnant for the last, what, n months already. It's rare that we're home on a Sunday, but I'm not complaining because I've missed the confines of my room as I've only stayed here for overnights the last few months due to my super hectic semester. I'm so glad I survived, though I'm still waiting for my final grades in my two subjects. *hoping for the best*

Lantern Parade
Tuesday, December 24, 2013
Wore this comfy outfit when we went to UP Diliman to watch the Lantern Parade last December 18. Well, I think watch is not the perfect term because we didn't actually watch. My highschool friends and I just bonded, talked, laughed, played, take pictures while the parade was going on. Ahh, it just feels so good to be reunited and catch up with my highschool buddies. I really can't feel the time passing by when I'm with them. It may sound corny and cliché but they're the best! I think I wouldn't have survived highschool without them. They made my highschool days fun and memorable. I love you guys!! <3
So anyway, wore something comfy and casual because I assumed we'll be walking a lot around the campus with big number of crowds and I don't want to be overly-consious with what I'm wearing so I went for a simple tank top and origami skorts. Though origami skorts is not that simple because I think it's not something one would wear everyday. But wore it either way to make my look, even a slightest bit, fashionable. Lol. Added a cardgian because I figured that it might be cold at night.
Nothing says comfortble more than a good pair of sneakers. And yes, it is leather - told you to watch out for more posts with leather pieces! Lol =))
Oh, and did I mention how much fun we had during the whole night? After watching (???) the Lantern Parade, we had dinner at, what they call, Area 2. Then we went straight to Mcdonald's at Katipunan to spend the rest of the evening. We talked even more, bonded, played different kinds of games, and enjoyed every minute of it over coffee floats, burgers and mcdonald's fries. Ugh, how much better could it get - spending the night with the best food and best people! Then came by 6 am and we went back to UPD so the upd people could get their things then the next thing I knew is we were all knocked out on the bus on our way back home. It was a tiring but really fun experience, I hope we could do it again next year!

Oh, by the way, here are some pictures I've took using my phone. It's not a lot but enough to remind me how wonderful that night has been! Am I too cheesy now? Lol HAHAHAHAHA
**HAHA Talk about not a lot! Lol =))
***and yes, I'm relying on the scheduled post feature of blogger once again. Today's my sister's birthday so I might be out and about having fun - as I always do! HEEHEE. Kbye.

Solidarity Weekend

"The shirt you wear shows you care."
Went all casual last week and wore my #TulongPH shirt to show love for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda. It's been almost a month already since the typhoon hit the Philippines. It's one of the most destructive typhoons we ever had. Thousands of families in the Visayas were homeless, foodless for weeks. We could all help in our own little ways, just by wearing this simple shirt to help spread the word can even make a big difference.
Seeing pictures and hearing news about the aftermath of the typhoon made me realize even more how lucky I am to have food, shelter, clothes, and not to mention, family for everyday of my life. Well anyway, we really cannot predict life. We will all have those ups and downs so let us just be thankful for what we have now - and enjoy every moment of it. ;)

She Bangs!
Friday, December 20, 2013
I've been meaning to try this hair style for a long time now, but I only got the courage to give it a shot a few weeks back. Thanks to the music icon-themed Christmas Party my SJDC fam held last December 7. I copied Carly Rae Jepsen, hence the bangs :D I don't have any pictures from the party though </3 Anyways, a lot has reacted when they first saw me and my full bangs. Many complimented me while there are a few who says I look better without it. But either way, I still love it! Trying new hairstyles (or just anything new) is really exciting, don't you think? :>
So down with my outfit today, I built this outfit with these cute babies - my new favorite! Got them on 50% off during the Buy1-Take1-of-markdown-items-madness at Forever21! Such a steal!!!! During this holiday season, almost every mall and every store is having a sale. More the reasons to be happy and get everything you wanted for Christmas!
I decided to pair my new babies with this black, versatile dress. I love having amazing pieces like this. It can be styled differently from girly, edgy, casual, semi-formal, you name it! You just gotta know how to match certain pieces and put on the right accessories. And since this was just a casual day out to meet one of my ninangs whom I've seen for the first time since I was born, I went for a casual look. Styled it with a vest and sneaks then I was good to go. ;)

*look up* lol
Just a short post for this evening. Wore this for a casual lunch out with my grandmother who went all the way from Bicol for my tito's birthday last last week. I've been leaning towards pullovers, sweaters and jackets for the past days and I have to say that the weather wasn't exactly how I thought it would be. There's still the intense heat during the afternoon and humid air at late night. Now I really do wish for snow in the Philippines.
Hehe, told you it would be a short post. I can't think of anything else to say because of the tiring but super FUN night-to-morning-bonding I had last night with my highschool friends. I was awake for 24 hours for the nth time! Lol. So now I better catch up with sleep. Goodnight! <3

Bomber!
Wednesday, December 18, 2013
Corlorful ensemble couldn't really get out of my way. Maybe it's just who I am. I like to keep things playful and happy. And I think pops of colors was just the right way to show it. Who wouldn't feel happy when you see all those bright colors, right? ;) one thing I always keep in mind when dressing up is to always add a pop of color, although a black and white outfit would be fun to try sometimes, I just can't help myself from adding a color to break the dullness!
Anyway, wore this after hittin' the gym three Sundays ago. (yeah, I did go to the gym you guys bwhahaha) Went to The Medical City because my cousin was admitted, then to BHS and SM Aura to shop for some things. Christmas is just around the corner and we all have to start with our christmas shopping, yes? Yes! One of the many reasons to love christmas even more! <3
P.S. Thank God for scheduled posts, cause maybe by the time this would be posted, I'd be out in UP Diliman streets for the Lantern Parade having fun with the best people in the world. <3
