Solidarity Weekend

Saturday, December 21, 2013

"The shirt you wear shows you care."
Went all casual last week and wore my #TulongPH shirt to show love for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda. It's been almost a month already since the typhoon hit the Philippines. It's one of the most destructive typhoons we ever had. Thousands of families in the Visayas were homeless, foodless for weeks. We could all help in our own little ways, just by wearing this simple shirt to help spread the word can even make a big difference.

Seeing pictures and hearing news about the aftermath of the typhoon made me realize even more how lucky I am to have food, shelter, clothes, and not to mention, family for everyday of my life. Well anyway, we really cannot predict life. We will all have those ups and downs so let us just be thankful for what we have now - and enjoy every moment of it. ;)

Cole Vintage

Saturday, April 6, 2013

Gaaah, it's scorching hot here in the Philippines! So it's time to let those breezy clothes out. The top i'm wearing is actually really thin. It's breezy and doesn't stick to your skin. Pieces like this are a must this summer if you don't want to have a heat stroke! HAHA

Anyway, I went for a white look for today since we went to the cemetery to bury the ashes of my grandfather's sister.

If you've been thinking what my title is about, well it's the brand of this shoes. HAHA I think I've been abusing them. Look how they're nearly worn out already. :(

Pastel Story

Wednesday, April 3, 2013

It's not really that easy to come up with an outfit appropriate for attending mass (at least for me). I am the shorts-kind-of-person. Well you could notice that since I barely wear pants, even in my previous blog posts. HAHA

So when we will go to hear mass, I often wear a skirt or a dress. I don't hate pants, I just don't like wearing them especially in this kind of weather! It's freaking hot lately!!

Played with pastels in this outfit. I think pastels are really cute, and very summer-ish. I hope my closet would be full of pastels for summer!

Pastel Blast

Sunday, March 10, 2013

Wore this when we watched WNCAA to support my cousin, Bianca. Too sad, they haven't won. But still, they did a great job!

I love my new sunnies from drop_n_shop, try to visit their instagram page! They've got lots of cute and affodable sunnies plus a very friendly seller too!!

Since it's nearly summer, I opted for pastels. They're such feel good colors!

My iPhone case matched my outfit today. LOL :D

I kept everything light by wearing white brogues and carrying white satchel. White do complement pastels!

Floral Overload

Saturday, February 9, 2013

Hoooray!! Congratulate meeeee, this is my first ever take in wearing print on print. Yeah, I know - It is too last season, but I was afraid of trying it before, thinking that I may not pull it off. But now I had the courage and thought that it's good to try new things once in a while. Besides, it makes life more exciting and interesting, right?

I didn't notice until now that this tee and pants look like they were made for each other. They match perfectly, don't they? :D First tip in matching prints is to have the same color palette for both pieces. Like in this outfit, both the tee and pants range from the colors of pink, green and white. It's easier to pull of than matching totally different colors.

Since this is already a print on print outfit, I wore plain pumps to avoid overdoing the look. What can you say about my first print on print look? :>
