To Coming Back

GAAAAHH!!!! Can't believe it's almost been a year since my last blog post here. I might have been a little (TOO MUCH) busy with life since it was my 5th year in BSIE last year and I was too focused on graduating 1st semester A.Y. 2016-2017. All my hard work paid off eventually and I'm proud to say I've finished a 5-year course in a span of 4.5 years! And besides all my academic and org responsibilities, I'm juggling my time to spend day offs and still go out with family and friends so I had to make sure I spend my time wisely!

It sure was a fun year and I'm really grateful for everything! Now that I have enough time in my hands, I'm going back to blogging, F I N A L L Y yey! I've been wanting to do this, but I had a full schedule everyday since my classes ended last December. (yes, ganun ako ka-gala LOL) I'd really have a lot of backlogs especially for my Travel Diaries, and I can't wait to start!

It was a looooooong hiatus but it already feels good to be back, hello again blogspot! ❤️

Year 2015

2015 have been a series of highs and lows for me. Well, that's what makes it remarkable. I was off with a good start, to be honest and then the roller coaster ride comes in. I met new people but lost some too; I've had traumatic emotional breakdowns; I've been broken, shattered, my self-esteem thrown out the window; for one moment I've lost hope; but on the brighter side gained new experiences; found love; been to a LOT of places to see the world; discover potentials and opportunities, my strengths and weaknesses, my source of sadness and happiness; overall I learned more about life, about myself, and what I really want. In this life, we can't always get what we want, but we are always given a chance to be happy and to get what we deserve.

The overwhelming feeling of happiness and contentment have always been there. Of course I wouldn't have survived this year if not for my family, friends and everyone who have always been by my side supporting me in all my endeavors and dreams -- and of course, Jesus Christ, who have guided me not only in 2015, but for the past 20 years and I believe for the remaining years of my life, leading me to the right path and to the life that I truly deserve. I know You have greater plans for us in the next years to come and I couldn't be more grateful for all the blessings You have graced us with. 

Before 2015 comes to an end, I'll leave you with the highlights of my year and a trip down memory lane. This was an amazing year, but I'm ready to embrace whatever's in store for me in 2016. Happy new year everyone! Cheers!

Appreciation is the Key

Let's all take a minute or two to appreciate the beauty that our creator has laid out for us. It never fails to amaze me every hour of everyday when the sun takes its first peek and just before it bids goodbye. I call it the golden hour! Sometimes just staring above will make me feel like I'm floating on air. I know that these pictures are not enough to show how pretty the sky gets every sunset and sunrise - how every minute it changes its color, from dark to light and vice versa. There are certain things that are really not just enough to be captured by the camera because you'll appreciate it a thousand times more if it's captured by your very own eyes and hearts. I don't know when I started appreciating the sky but every time I look at it now, I feel nothing but serenity, peace and calm. It just gives me more reasons to be thankful that I get to live another day in this world and experience and witness all the beauty that comes with it.

The Waiting Game

Amidst my busy schedule, #BusyAsABee (HAHA LOLJK), with acads, training and org works, I find time to relax and remind myself of things.... Just things. HAHA. One way of relieving my stress (besides eating) is scrolling through quotes like these. During my idle times (or GE class, lol), I read and reread and search for these. My camera roll have been full of them lately so let me share with you a few of them. I find inspiration, lessons and motivation in them especially when I'm bothered or thinking about things. A Good Company

Before anything else, I hope everyone's alright after typhoon Glenda hit our country. I'm praying for everyone's safety! I live in Laguna and I can say we experienced heavy rain and strong winds. Almost all the tree fell on the road and the streets are a mess. We still got no power and water at home so we're currently staying at McKinley Hill. I could really get used to the Manila life. Every mall, restaurant and coffee shop that I like are in the grasp of my hands!! LOL And of course, being in the confines of a four-cornered room (or not, lol, we almost always went out to grab a cup of drink or eat or watch movies or drop by a bookstore. HAHA) but what I'm saying is that we all need a good company. Especially in this very upsetting weather. And a good book is a perfect companion to comfort you and your thoughts about the calamity. It takes your mind off of it since you use your imagination and get so hooked up you don't wanna do anything but flip the pages of every book. Hungry and eager for how the story will turn out and end, or you might not want it to end at all, LOL. Well, yes that happens to me a lot! I was so eager to finish the book that I always stay up until 3am but after reading the last page, I keep wanting for more! Do you know the feeling that it's like you've been attached to the characters that you already feel what they feel?? HAHAHA. I feel the intensity of their fear and love through the words the authors used. *grabe kasi talaga yung kilig ko sa The One! Omg HAHA* Ahhhh, the feeling of reading a good book!!! And might I add, I love the scent of new books that I always smell it while running the pages through my fingers. So anyway, just thought I might share a few of my good reads this week. :) 

Wishes Do Come True

Hiiiii! I think it's been more than a month already since I last posted here. I have so so so many pending blogposts already and I still can't squeeze in a single outfit post - yeah, I'm busy like that LOL 

Anyway, before I turn legal, I was thinking of the things I wanted to have or do so I came up with a wishlist! Hahahahahaha. I'm hoping and crossing my fingers that these will all come true. (Ehem, ehem) 

Hahahahahaha! I think this will take my birthday - Chirstmas - 10 more birthdays before I get everything in here! But anyway, libre lang naman mangarap! Hahaha =)))

Awwww, what a nice greeting to start the week. AHHHHHHH!!! I reached 10k hits already!! Thank you so much to each and everyone of you who takes time to read my blog.
