Primary

Saturday, July 26, 2014

If there's one thing I've noticed, it's how I'm leaning towards the basic and timeless pieces. If you'd see my closet right now, you'd notice a lot of black and white pieces and tons of denims. Well maybe I'm turning into a smart shopper because I know that those pieces would last forever and it is something I can wear 10 years from now (yes, I hope I'd still be in this shape! Hahaha). It's so easy to mix and match, you can basically wear them everyday and they never go out of style. So if I were you, invest on the basics! ;)

Take A Break

Sunday, January 12, 2014

Taking a break from flooding my mind with Physics82 stuff. I still can't believe it's already been a week since classes started. My mind is so preoccupied that I can't keep track of time again. So, being the busy-me, I needed to study tonight for my exams on Tuesday because I still have other things to attend to on the next few days. And I think my head's about to explode with all the information I need to absorb. HAHA! I need to analyze and understand everything tonight since my mind and ears aren't functioning during our lecture classes. Lol

To ease my mind a bit, let me blog about the outfit that I wore last week. I wore a pants, brogues and a bratop - totally the opposite of a shopping outfit (at least for me) so I would stray away from fitting clothes but unfortunately it didn't work. My eyes started to sparkle the second I saw all the SALE tag on all my favorite brands around Makati and tried on some pieces and can't help myself but buy them. Uhh, I really need to control myself from shopping too much. I still have a lot of unused clothes inside my closet and a lot of old clothes I have only worn once or twice. Better use them first before buying new ones! Yeah, I really need to keep that in mind!

It was a super fun day so let me tell you how I rolled my first Sunday of the year. First, we had the usual Sunday breakfast, and by usual I meant eating breakfast at Mcdonald's at SLEX. We always eat there whenever we are going to Manila Sunday morning. Then went straight to Greenbelt to hear mass. Yep, explains why I wore pants! Lol. Then had lunch at Superbowl with my cousins and aunts and uncles. It was my cousin's birthday treat. After eating lunch, my cousin Bianca and I roamed around Glorietta then head to Krispy Kreme for some snacks. Once we're full, my mom and I went to SM Makati to buy some stuff then we roamed around Glorietta again. Haha. We did nothing but walk and walk and walk and walk. My feet actually hurts but it's always fun to look around. And a lot more fun when you get to buy things on sale! Heehee :p After a little shopping, we went to LB because I had to review for my exam at ENSC11 the next day. I reviewed with my sj friends and we stayed up until 3 am. It was the perfect first weekend, except for the last part HAHA jk. I still had fun while reviewing since I was with my friends <3

Lantern Parade

Tuesday, December 24, 2013

Wore this comfy outfit when we went to UP Diliman to watch the Lantern Parade last December 18. Well, I think watch is not the perfect term because we didn't actually watch. My highschool friends and I just bonded, talked, laughed, played, take pictures while the parade was going on. Ahh, it just feels so good to be reunited and catch up with my highschool buddies. I really can't feel the time passing by when I'm with them. It may sound corny and cliché but they're the best! I think I wouldn't have survived highschool without them. They made my highschool days fun and memorable. I love you guys!! <3

So anyway, wore something comfy and casual because I assumed we'll be walking a lot around the campus with big number of crowds and I don't want to be overly-consious with what I'm wearing so I went for a simple tank top and origami skorts. Though origami skorts is not that simple because I think it's not something one would wear everyday. But wore it either way to make my look, even a slightest bit, fashionable. Lol. Added a cardgian because I figured that it might be cold at night.

Nothing says comfortble more than a good pair of sneakers. And yes, it is leather - told you to watch out for more posts with leather pieces! Lol =))

Oh, and did I mention how much fun we had during the whole night? After watching (???) the Lantern Parade, we had dinner at, what they call, Area 2. Then we went straight to Mcdonald's at Katipunan to spend the rest of the evening. We talked even more, bonded, played different kinds of games, and enjoyed every minute of it over coffee floats, burgers and mcdonald's fries. Ugh, how much better could it get - spending the night with the best food and best people! Then came by 6 am and we went back to UPD so the upd people could get their things then the next thing I knew is we were all knocked out on the bus on our way back home. It was a tiring but really fun experience, I hope we could do it again next year!

Oh, by the way, here are some pictures I've took using my phone. It's not a lot but enough to remind me how wonderful that night has been! Am I too cheesy now? Lol HAHAHAHAHA

**HAHA Talk about not a lot! Lol =))
***and yes, I'm relying on the scheduled post feature of blogger once again. Today's my sister's birthday so I might be out and about having fun - as I always do! HEEHEE. Kbye.

I Heart NY

Monday, July 1, 2013

Oh yes, I <3 NY. Even though I haven't been to the city yet. And I wish I could go there real soon. Hello mommy, hello daddy, please let us go there!!!!!! LOL =))

Remember how I'm talking about hand-me-down clothes from my mom here? Well, here's another top from her. This used to be my pambahay top, pantulog even. :PP Then I thought, what a waste. And since cropped tops are big this season, I decided to make one out of my old clothes. Reinventing pieces such as this would help widen the range of your closet without spending money - perfect tip for students!! Especially if you're a college student with no uniform and don't want to repeat the same clothes to school again and again yet don't have the money to buy clothes everyday! :D

So anyway, I wore this super comfy outfit last June 7, 2013. It was the death anniversary of my grandfather. We went to North Cemetery early morning to pay respects and offer prayers. Then we went to Ortigas to claim the dress I won at the photo contest of SM GTW. Thanks to everyone who voted anyway! :* Then we went to Katie's house to make arrangements for my gown then went to SM Megamall to find some of the things we need.

Busy day? Indeed. :D That's why I went for sneakers. Well you know me, I always go for comfort! ;) We'd be sleeping at my aunt's house that night so I have to bring a bag to contain all my necessities. And I already told you that nothing could go wrong with my favorite bag, so I just grabbed it from the racks and stuffed it with my things.

Animal Lover

Thursday, May 9, 2013

Well I'm not really an animal lover. I don't even own a pet or something. But when it comes to dressing, I'm always attracted to animal prints. So for today's look, I went for an all animal print get up. HAHA I should have worn my animal print loafers and brought my animal print backpack but I don't want to look like an animal roaming around MOA. =))

I so love this bag! I bought it a year ago at Duty Free and it was my favorite backpack ever since. It's not that big and will go with any outfit! I often bring this to school because I prefer bringing backpacks rather than handbags and I could go with it in shorts, pants, skirts, and even dresses! I'm hoping I could have more of this, but I can't seem to find one in stores. :(

HAHA I told you I am in an all animal get up! Even down to my belt. My obsession in animal prints must have gone wild. Lol I think have every item of clothing in animal print =)) oooh wait, I don't have a skirt in animal print! I must get one HAHAHAHAHAHA just kidding!

Since I'm helping mom shop, I wore my studded flats. We did a lot of walking and I'm thankful my feet didn't get blisters! HAHAHA
