Sorry for the lack of a better title for this post. Lately I've been having a hard time thinking of one, so I think, why not just use the date when I wore this outfit? It feels more of like a journal, hence the name of the blog. ;) (You think I got away with that? Yes? Yes? LOL)

Blue Palms
Sunday, December 13, 2015
It's a good Sunday morning and I'm feeling productive so here's a back to back update for my blog which has been stagnant for the last, what, n months already. It's rare that we're home on a Sunday, but I'm not complaining because I've missed the confines of my room as I've only stayed here for overnights the last few months due to my super hectic semester. I'm so glad I survived, though I'm still waiting for my final grades in my two subjects. *hoping for the best*

If there's one thing I've noticed, it's how I'm leaning towards the basic and timeless pieces. If you'd see my closet right now, you'd notice a lot of black and white pieces and tons of denims. Well maybe I'm turning into a smart shopper because I know that those pieces would last forever and it is something I can wear 10 years from now (yes, I hope I'd still be in this shape! Hahaha). It's so easy to mix and match, you can basically wear them everyday and they never go out of style. So if I were you, invest on the basics! ;)

*look up* lol
Just a short post for this evening. Wore this for a casual lunch out with my grandmother who went all the way from Bicol for my tito's birthday last last week. I've been leaning towards pullovers, sweaters and jackets for the past days and I have to say that the weather wasn't exactly how I thought it would be. There's still the intense heat during the afternoon and humid air at late night. Now I really do wish for snow in the Philippines.
Hehe, told you it would be a short post. I can't think of anything else to say because of the tiring but super FUN night-to-morning-bonding I had last night with my highschool friends. I was awake for 24 hours for the nth time! Lol. So now I better catch up with sleep. Goodnight! <3

Can't Get Enough
Friday, May 31, 2013
There are three reasons why I chose "Can't Get Enough" for today's blogpost.
1. Can't get enough of TEAL
2. Can't get enough of tee and shorts combo
3. Just Can't Get Enough by Black Eyed Peas is playing right now through my phone. (What a coincidence - since it's on shuffle! HAHA)
This top is actually a gift from one of my bestfriends, Alyssa. And she knows me too well to give a gift as such. She gave this to me when I'm so crazy over aztec and teal! HAHAHA. Oh, and I'm still crazy about it so anyone who wants to give a gift is always welcome :PPPP HAHA loljk
So anyway, wore this casual look when my mom, my sister, my cousin, Cha and I went to Paseo Premier Hotel. Could you guess why we went there? :P After attending to the things we need to do at the hotel, we went straight to Paseo to eat. I think I have a new favorite restaurant - try out Kanin Club. Their foods are so tasty!! Then we went home so my cousin could raid my closet. As in literally raid! HAHAHAHAHA. But that's fine, I'm too excited for the reason why he needed to raid my closet anyway! :D *grinning for being too vague*
This brand comes next after Solemate to my list of favorite doll shoes. It comes handy since it is foldable. And it's very comfortable too! HAHA whenever I wear heels, I always bring one of my posh pairs with me. ;)
AHHHHHH! Bloggers United 5 is less than 24 hours away, and I'm freakin' excited!!!!!! Oh, and I'm so proud that I haven't shopped for the whole month of May - reason why I really can't wait for BU5!! LOL

On The Go
Friday, April 19, 2013
Went for a very casual look this day since we were out all night to watch the prusisyon. Its one of the things done by Filipinos during holy week, in our case it was done on a Good Friday. I'm not that sure if they do it on other days HAHA.
Well anyway I dressed up comfortably so I can move around easily in the middle of the crowd. There surely are many people that night out on the streets!
Wore my very comfortable Toms. This really is the comfiest of all shoes! My feet never hurt when I wear this, even in long walks.
I didn't bring this bag out though. I just brought it but left it in the car. I can never be sure since there would be many people in there and this is a backpack. Someone might be sneaking in my bag while I was watching the prusisyon. Although it's holy week and people are supposed to be repenting of their sins, we can never tell. It's better to be cautious than to regret later! HAHA
Anyway, this day was such a blast! We went to SM Sta. Rosa since today is the start of the 3-day sale. And gosh, i'm so happy with my purchases! (I'm always happy when I'm shopping anyway LOL) I got myself another pair of keds. *giggles* Well actually my sister and I have the same shoe size now so I'm not the only one who'll be using it (or all of my shoes!!) HAHA It's nice when you have the same shoe size as your sister and your mother. All of their shoes are yours as well :P 'Kay, I won't mention everything I bought, just watch out for my next blog posts! ;)
I also got new books! 'Cause instead of sleeping and eating all summer, I realize I could just read and read and read all day long. I love reading anyway. Any suggestions for more good books?;)

Modern Safari
Wednesday, April 17, 2013
Boots, shorts and vest - HAHA, when I see this kind of pieces together, the first thing that enters my mind is Safari (maybe because I have my own version of safari on my mind!). Except that it is extra girly since they're all pink and florals and fringes. HAHA, modernized look!!
I wore this when we went to Bicol. Gaaaah, it took us 15 looooooong hours to get there! My butt aches after that. Lol. We went by land that is why it took us more than half a day. I blame the heavy traffic in Quezon! HAHAHA just kidding!
I wish I could have this shades!! It's my dad's, actually. But I really love Ray-Ban aviators, so I borrowed his' for my outfit shots!
I love this Dr Martens-inspired booties. But this was way a lot cheaper than the original Dr Martens. I won't buy (my mom and dad won't buy me either) a shoes that expensive. I'm not really sure how much it costs, but I know that it really is expensive. LOL. And besides why do you need those when you can have almost the same shoes for only 799? :> When I saw this at SM Department Store, I was shocked and I knew I really need to have one! HAHA
