Busy As A Bee

Omygaaaaahd. It felt like forever since I last updated my blog!!! I really missed this. A LOT! I can't believe that the last three months have been my busiest and I'm really glad it's over. Well maybe just a little. I've been busy the past months mainly because of Verve 4: Transcendance. Lol. (Yes because of verve, not because of my acads, loljk.) But really, a lot of my time was alloted for verve training. I can't believe I haven't gone home for a month for that. But it was really fun and worth all the efforts and pain we experienced in preparation for the big production. I can't explain the feeling while I was dancing on stage and seeing everyone in the audience smiling, cheering, clapping, and all those sorts of things. Uhh, I wish I could do a concert with my sj fam anytime soon. Fast forward to verve 5, maybe? :D

But days after verve came in my hell weeks, so I still haven't find the time to post in here. I have to catch up with my acads and spend quality time with my family as well. I haven't had enough sleeps for the past few days because of my final exams. My acads is killing me!!! Well maybe just my physics. Lol. Huhu, Lord, please let me pass. :( I'm just 5 units away from my junior standing, I really can't believe how fast time flies! 

So anyway, I still haven't had a taste of summer yet and here goes the online registration tomorrow for summer classes. I want to take some of my courses in advance so I won't have to take all the difficult subjects all at once. Now I have to spend my summer vacation in UPLB! *sobs* But anyway, it's okay since our 1st semester would start on August. More vacation, more fun! :D

Let's not just talk about my outfit since it was way back last January. Lol. Just wanted to post something and decided to post backlogs since I have no new outfit because I don't have time to shoot lately or I just keep forgetting my camera =))

P.S. I hope I could still update my blog despite my busy schedule for the coming weeks because of my summer classes. And I really hope for a summer getaway real soon! Can't wait to take my summer dresses out for a spin already. Lol.

Take A Break

Taking a break from flooding my mind with Physics82 stuff. I still can't believe it's already been a week since classes started. My mind is so preoccupied that I can't keep track of time again. So, being the busy-me, I needed to study tonight for my exams on Tuesday because I still have other things to attend to on the next few days. And I think my head's about to explode with all the information I need to absorb. HAHA! I need to analyze and understand everything tonight since my mind and ears aren't functioning during our lecture classes. Lol

To ease my mind a bit, let me blog about the outfit that I wore last week. I wore a pants, brogues and a bratop - totally the opposite of a shopping outfit (at least for me) so I would stray away from fitting clothes but unfortunately it didn't work. My eyes started to sparkle the second I saw all the SALE tag on all my favorite brands around Makati and tried on some pieces and can't help myself but buy them. Uhh, I really need to control myself from shopping too much. I still have a lot of unused clothes inside my closet and a lot of old clothes I have only worn once or twice. Better use them first before buying new ones! Yeah, I really need to keep that in mind! 

It was a super fun day so let me tell you how I rolled my first Sunday of the year. First, we had the usual Sunday breakfast, and by usual I meant eating breakfast at Mcdonald's at SLEX. We always eat there whenever we are going to Manila Sunday morning. Then went straight to Greenbelt to hear mass. Yep, explains why I wore pants! Lol. Then had lunch at Superbowl with my cousins and aunts and uncles. It was my cousin's birthday treat. After eating lunch, my cousin Bianca and I roamed around Glorietta then head to Krispy Kreme for some snacks. Once we're full, my mom and I went to SM Makati to buy some stuff then we roamed around Glorietta again. Haha. We did nothing but walk and walk and walk and walk. My feet actually hurts but it's always fun to look around. And a lot more fun when you get to buy things on sale! Heehee :p After a little shopping, we went to LB because I had to review for my exam at ENSC11 the next day. I reviewed with my sj friends and we stayed up until 3 am. It was the perfect first weekend, except for the last part HAHA jk. I still had fun while reviewing since I was with my friends <3

Phineas and Ferb

HAHA! My sister is really addicted to this tv show. And I can't help but watch as well whenever she is! My favorite song from the show is the Gitchi Gitchi Goo! HAHAHA. It's so cute!!

So anyway, while my mom was cleaning her closet last summer vacation, she gave me some of her clothes that couldn't fit her anymore. And this top is one of those hand-me-down clothes. When I saw this top, it reminded me of Phineas, so I took him to be my inspiration for today's look :D

I wore this when my friends and I went to LB way before school started. We went to get our Form5, and it was a good decision to get it before school started because, I swear, the line was insane on the first day of classes!! But I still had to get my Form26 though, so I had to wait in a very long line as well. And I wasn't accepted in prerog. So in short, all the time and effort I exerted was wasted. -____-

Lookie! Phineas and I were a total match, from neck to toe! :P

Tropical Kitty

HAHA are you getting tired of my tee and shorts combo? LOL. I'm sorry, but I just can't help it. And I don't think I'd get over it soon. It really is my go-to-outfit whenever I go out of the house and wants to feel comfortable! And whenever I feel that dressing up isn't necessary, this combo is always a safe choice! It could be classy, girly, comfortable, boyish, really, it could be anything you want it to be. It just depends on how you style and mix the prints, colors and of course, the right pair of shoes and accessories. HAHA

For todays outfit, I went for the cute and colorful tee and shorts combo. I think it isn't obvious, but my favorite cartoon character when I was a child, or maybe up to the present, is Hello Kitty. When Uni Qlo opened in MOA, we decided to go shopping there. And when I entered the store, the first thing that I noticed was all the cute shirts with Hello Kitty printed on them. HAHA I felt like a child and wanted to buy all the designs!!!!!! Ahh, if only I could... Maybe someday though =))

I was shocked to find both of these pieces lying near each other in my cabinet while I was cleaning up. They have the exact same colors. What's more shocking is I bought these on different stores and different time. HAHA they're so perfect for each other! They have the tropical vibes so I took my chances and wear them while summer's still here. It's been raining frequently these past few weeks. I'm afraid I have to say goodbye to summer soon, and it breaks my heart!! I still have so many summer outfits on my mind, and how I wish the weather would permit me to wear all of them <//3

 I went to Ymagne's house when I wore this. We prepared a video for Regina since it was her birthday days ago. HAHA I'll post the link of the video here when it's already uploaded! :D

My Kind Of Color

This might be my last post for this week. </3 I forgot to save my previous outfit shots in my laptop. :( I'll be blogging on Sunday night or Monday morning though! But it would probably be on Monday morning, because my lazy self won't allow me to do so the moment I got home on Sunday night! HAHA but just stay tuned anyway! :D

Okay, so we all know how much I love teal, right? HAHA. So when mommy sent me a picture of this cardigan thru viber (because I'm at the dorm during the time), my shop-a-holic self jumped out of joy! First, because there would be an addition to my closet; second, because it is teal; and third because it was mommy who bought it for me! It rarely happens that she buys me something (specifically clothes and shoes) without me telling her to! <3

So I wore this laid out look when my mother and I went to Globe at Solenad 2. We have some business we need to take care of. HAHA! But we haven't accomplished our "business"at Solenad 2 so we went straight to SM Sta. Rosa. Unfortunately, we didn't get what we wanted either. Better luck to us next time! =))

Wore my mom's sandals just to make my outfit look summer-ish... HAHA okay just kidding! The truth is I just want to show you my nails :P I love the color of my toenails, they make my feet look whiter!!  HAHA I painted them 5 minutes before we left the house! Talk about cramming - cramming at school, cramming at home, cramming everywhere =))

Ice Princess

This is a very Kryz Uy-inspired outfit. I got the idea from her Skaters and ice blogpost. I love mint and white together anyway so I decided to give it a shot. ;)

I still have five pending posts before this but whatever, I really am so excited to post this. HAHA. Okay that's a lame excuse. The truth is I'm waiting for the other pictures to be uploaded for my supposed-to-be-today's-blog-post. But the one (Ate Pat) who has the pictures seems to be busy so I guess I still have to wait. For the meantime, I'm gonna show you one of my favorite outfits of all time, which is this. :D

I love how simple yet elegant this look turned out. I just used a glittery pumps and simple accessories for this look, but I really liked it. The quote "Simplicity is beauty" must be really true. I felt really pretty when I wore this last Saturday. HAHA. One fact about me: I feel extra pretty when I have nice clothes on. LOL

Anyway, we just went to RWM and Duty Free the day I wore this. It's RWM, so I could dress up as fancy as I wanted to. I guess this is the only mall I could really dress up like this. Everyone doesn't seem to notice anyone. :>

Ombre in Pink

Dressing up usually depends on the things you would do for the day, or events you need to attend to. In my case, I've gone for a laid back look since I've gone shopping at an ukay-ukay with one of my bestfriends, Ymagne a few weeks ago.

I went for an outfit I'm comfortable with. Non-other than the famous tee, shorts and sneaks combo. Just to keep things interesting, I wore prints and ombre shorts. HAHA! When shopping at ukay-ukays, you need to be really comfortable with your outfit because it might took you HOURS to find things to buy. As you could see, I wore a simple watch as an accessory. I don't want to have dangling bracelets and all other stuffs while I'm busy fitting. HAHA

Wore my ever trusted sneakers. ;) When shopping, you need to have the most comfortable shoes as well. I'm more comfortable wearing sneakers than doll shoes, so yeaaah! HAHA. In ukay-ukays or maybe in other shops as well, you must be patient in looking around to have the best items! I think I walked around the whole store three times before I decided which clothes I should get.

I'm used to walking around for hours so it wasn't that much of a tiring day. And I never get tired when I'm shopping!!! HAHAHAHA. It's fun to shop in thrift stores though. You'll get amazing pieces for cheaps! I think I'd shop there again any time soon.;)

Red Soles

Isn't this pair gorgeous?! My aunt just gave them to me. This is my first pair of heels, as I can remember. This used to be my favorite, but when pumps came out of the blue, I had a change of heart. Loljk. HAHAHA. It's just that one of the pumps I bought are really nice, glittery and not to mention only 2 inches high. This is 4 inches high, although it doesn't look that high in these pictures. HAHA

It's a Sunday when I wore this, and it means that it's church day. So I opted to wear pants this time. Since I'm already wearing pants, and I have to fight the heat this summer, I wore a striped-sleeveless top. Actually, this is a bratop. It already comes with pads so you don't have to worry finding the perfect you know what when you're using this. HAHA

Just to keep things interesting, I added this denim vest with striped detail as well. And since I'm already in black and white, I decided to add red, which is a striking color for me, to add color and make my look lively. 

I haven't woren this watch in years! This has got to be my favorite watch. It's my mom's but I'm the one who frequently uses it and I'm the one who keeps it in my room HAHA. This watch is really nice, you can change the color of the colored-circle around it (you get me? HAHAHAH!!). So it's easy to match any outfit with this watch. I'll wear this anytime soon so you could see ;)

I didn't have the chance to take outfit shots outside so I took it inside our house, lol. 

(huhu I'm getting fat. Look at my arms *cries* lol, it must be the eating I'm doing all summer!)

Anyway, yesterday was really tiring!! I can't believe my feet gave up on me, not to mention I'm wearing flats the whole day!! HAHA it must be all the walking around MOA and ATC. I helped mom shop, and we looked around forever21 and SM Dept. Store for about 2-3 hours. Woooo haha, but hey I got what I wanted yesterday! I got a brown flat booties! Yeeeeey ;)) Thank you mommy! I know you're reading this :D
