Confessions of a Shopaholic

Hooray for me for my first blog post after my hell sem. Yes guys, I'm still alive (but I'm barely breathing, HAHA LOLJK). I'm really sorry for the hiatus. I've been preoccupied for the whole semester and Christmas break because of my execom duties, academic stuff, training, org works and family and friend bondings. But my anon reader(s) who never get tired to constantly ask for updates is making me kilig so this one is for you!

Simplicity is Beauty

Ooooh, I feel like I haven't blogged for 632897018942349237 years! Lol. I was so so so busy for the last few weeks that I can't manage to let blogging slip into my schedule. School is really making my head explode! Huuu. I'm just so glad that my hell week is finally over (although I still have ENG2 bugging my mind).

So anyway, let me start this post by saying that I've always believed in the saying that simplicity is beauty. Being simple shows the true beauty of a person. Other people are just pretty because of too much make up and wearing clothes that look like they ran out of fabric. LOL

So for today's look, I kept it simple and comfortable. You guys already know how much I love being in my comfiest state when I'm dressing up! And since this day was shopping day, I couldn't risk my feet complaining because of sky high heels. I also wore a dress since it is the easiest piece of clothing to take off when trying on clothes :DD *and I think I already said that before*

Brought with me my mom's longchamp bag. It goes well with my outfit and can fit in all my necessities!

Bloggers United V

I think you already know how much I love to shop, right? So whenever an upcoming Bloggers United is announced, my heart jumps out of joy. It is the perfect opportunity for those shop-a-holic who are low on budget to splurge! You could find thousands of amazing finds on a very low price plus you could meet all your favorite bloggers! Too sad for me, I haven't met mine. </3 Kryz Uy arrived minutes after we left. Ughh! :((

Since I've been to Bloggers United 4, I've already anticipated that Bloggers United 5 would be no different and would be jam-packed with people well-dressed; so I took time to think of what to wear and came up with this. Comfortable yet stylish, eh? :D Instead of going for my usual shopping outfit, tee and shorts combo, I managed to alter it a bit. As I've said, I already experienced the previous BU and I already witnessed how crazy and crowded it was, so I went for a sleeveless top so I would feel cool while rummaging my favorite bloggers' clothes and shoes. And just to be a bit different, I paired it with a skort (short + skirt) I bought from Kryz Uy's booth last BU.

Although I think that this is the perfect shoes for my outfit, I surely know that I made a wrong decision by wearing it. It totally slipped my mind that there's a high probability for me to fit shoes, and wearing shoes with laces sucks when you're in a hurry trying different pairs on. Yes in a hurry!! Because all the items you could see could be gone in just a split second. One thing I learned when shopping in BU, never let go of the clothes/shoes you really like, or they'd be in the hands of other customers. It's really tiring to shop in BU, but it's totally worth it!

I'm not contented with the picture I have with Kryz Uy last BU4 because I already look so haggard when the photo was taken so I wanted another one! HAHA

Ombre in Pink

Dressing up usually depends on the things you would do for the day, or events you need to attend to. In my case, I've gone for a laid back look since I've gone shopping at an ukay-ukay with one of my bestfriends, Ymagne a few weeks ago.

I went for an outfit I'm comfortable with. Non-other than the famous tee, shorts and sneaks combo. Just to keep things interesting, I wore prints and ombre shorts. HAHA! When shopping at ukay-ukays, you need to be really comfortable with your outfit because it might took you HOURS to find things to buy. As you could see, I wore a simple watch as an accessory. I don't want to have dangling bracelets and all other stuffs while I'm busy fitting. HAHA

Wore my ever trusted sneakers. ;) When shopping, you need to have the most comfortable shoes as well. I'm more comfortable wearing sneakers than doll shoes, so yeaaah! HAHA. In ukay-ukays or maybe in other shops as well, you must be patient in looking around to have the best items! I think I walked around the whole store three times before I decided which clothes I should get.

I'm used to walking around for hours so it wasn't that much of a tiring day. And I never get tired when I'm shopping!!! HAHAHAHA. It's fun to shop in thrift stores though. You'll get amazing pieces for cheaps! I think I'd shop there again any time soon.;)

Peach Perfect

Well this day had been a really happy day because it was a shopping day!! :D I wore something comfortable because I know that we'd be walking a lot and I'd be trying on clothes. 

I'm using my favorite bag - again! HAHA. It may seem small but all the things I need fit in them. And this satchel is really cute, right?! lol

I can't choose which one I'd place here so I decided to place both! HAHAHA

I'm loving this flatforms. It gives me that added height without sacrificing comfort. I felt like I was walking with flats all day! Ahh, I want more of this, please give me some. *insert nagmamakaawa face here*

Lace Over Pressure

One of my shopping outfits! Here it is. Today, I am shopping for shoes, so I guess it is okay to wear pants. 

I am wearing a corset so I decided to wear it with this lace cover up. I don't want to be seen walking around the mall with just this corset on! And besides, it would be too cold! HAHA

I wore this sparkly doll shoes, so chic and easy to remove when you are trying on different shoes.

Went for some accessories to match my shoes! I so love this spike bracelets!!

We went to SM Mall of Asia today to buy some shoes. Unfortunately for me, out of the 4 pairs I was supposed to buy, I only had 1 pair - and it wasn't on my list! All those I was looking for are either out of stock or not in my size. How malas could I be, right?! HAHA. But anyway, I am happy with my new Draven!
