Frozen

Monday, December 23, 2013

Have you ever watched or even just heard of Walt Disney's Frozen? Well if you haven't you are missing a big part of your life. Lol, okay, so maybe I was exaggerating. But really, I just can't help but give praise for the movie. It was so good - the animation, the music, the story. I just want to watch it again. DVDs, please come out sooner! And while still waiting for the original and clear copies of the movie, I have (or my sister have) downloaded the movie, its not the best quality but it can be dealt with. Haha, desperate times call for desperate measures, eh? Lol. One of my favorite songs from the movie is Love is an Open Door. Try to listen to it, it brings good vibes. ;)

So anyway, what has frozen got to do something with this post for today? It's not like I'm wearing ice and the pictures don't really scream 'cold', you could say that by simply looking at the intense afternoon heat at the background, HAHAH! Hmm, so while looking at the pictures for today's post, seeing the white, clean vest and icy blue-like heels, it kind of like reminded me of the movie! (sorry, maipilit lang. HAHA :p)

I wore this last week when my mom and I went to Paseo to fetch my sister. We looked for some things and had lunch. Just a simple and SHORT stroll, so I have to take advantage and wear one of my heels. It's not like I can wear them everyday at school or during long walks at the mall. My feet would give up on me! Haha.

I'd like to make the most out of my vacation and I'm really glad we have lots of plans. (which means more outfit posts!) Well it's like we always had plans anyway, and I know I'm really lucky to experience this kind of fortune, so thank you Lord! <3 but for now, since I'm staying at home, I gotta catch up with my series. So, bye for now!

She Bangs!

Friday, December 20, 2013

I've been meaning to try this hair style for a long time now, but I only got the courage to give it a shot a few weeks back. Thanks to the music icon-themed Christmas Party my SJDC fam held last December 7. I copied Carly Rae Jepsen, hence the bangs :D I don't have any pictures from the party though </3 Anyways, a lot has reacted when they first saw me and my full bangs. Many complimented me while there are a few who says I look better without it. But either way, I still love it! Trying new hairstyles (or just anything new) is really exciting, don't you think? :>

So down with my outfit today, I built this outfit with these cute babies - my new favorite! Got them on 50% off during the Buy1-Take1-of-markdown-items-madness at Forever21! Such a steal!!!! During this holiday season, almost every mall and every store is having a sale. More the reasons to be happy and get everything you wanted for Christmas!

I decided to pair my new babies with this black, versatile dress. I love having amazing pieces like this. It can be styled differently from girly, edgy, casual, semi-formal, you name it! You just gotta know how to match certain pieces and put on the right accessories. And since this was just a casual day out to meet one of my ninangs whom I've seen for the first time since I was born, I went for a casual look. Styled it with a vest and sneaks then I was good to go. ;)

Hungry Jungle

Wednesday, May 8, 2013

Awww, I'm really loving animal prints lately. I can't believe I'd find something like this in SM GTW, I always thought I could only see this in stores like forever21, cotton on, etc. That's why I love shopping at SM GTW, they're items are as good as forever21 but in a lower price.

Anyway I wore this when my HS friends and I went to Trinoma to watch Iron Man 3. Gaaaaahd, I'm really so happy when I'm with them! <3 I'm not making so much friends in college, because in UPLB, we don't have blocs wherein you'd be with them for the rest of the semester. You'd have different classmates in every subject. That's why I'm still sticking with my beloved, crazy HS friends.

So back to my outfit, I'm really loving this vest!! I've waited for a week or two before I can have it and  I can't wait to wear them again! The lion collar tip is just too cute to resist! I can already imagine 3-4 outfits to wear with this vest. HAHA! It's kind of my hobby, imagining outfits with whatever's inside my closet. Lol

I went for my (and my sister's) new keds. <3 AHAHAHA, I got everything I'm wearing on the 3-day sale at SM Sta. Rosa last April. Oooooh, so much to love about sale! I'm wearing my sister's shorts btw! HAHA I love this point in time where I can wear my mother's and sister's clothes and shoes!!

Ughhh my body hurts everywhere! We've been cleaning our play room for days now. There's so much mess in there! HAHA. We're planning to turn it into a dressing room and we're almost done. Yey! Anyway, my mom and I went for a joyride yesterday. We went to Solenad 2, Solenad 1, then SM Sta. Rosa. And congratulations to my mom who has finally driven, at the speed of 100kph, at SLEX!! Wooohoooo =))

Thrills in Frills

Tuesday, April 23, 2013

I've already had this top for months now, but I only had the chance to wear it now. HAHA I've worn this when we watched It Takes A Man And A Woman. It was my second time to watch the movie! HAHA, it really is good. I think the movie's still showing in some cinemas up to now! It surely is a big hit.

I figured that this top would look good in a skirt. But I'm not actually wearing a skirt. This is a bodycon dress. It really is versatile!! I could wear it like a skirt, like a top - pair it with a skater skirt - and a dress. I love pieces such as this. I can repeat and repeat and repeat wearing them without others noticing. :)

I had my accessories match the colors of my outfit. Brown, white and black. I added spikes to make the outfit more edgy. If I've had a brown flat booties, I would have worn it with this outfit. Unfortunately, I don't have one HUHU :( so instead, I wore a brown sandals. I like how it turned out anyway. It was like bohemian in a summer vibe. ;)
