Wall-nut

Monday, July 29, 2013

Since I'm making up for lost time, I'm gonna blog while I still can. I don't have classes today anyway. :P

I remember how pissed I am this day because my camera's dead (take note, even the extra battery!) and I couldn't take my outfit shots! And my tita's DSLR was not with them so I have to settle with a digital camera. #firstworldproblem #lol #hashtag #beannoyed #bwhahaha! Ok, stopping now.

And yet another tee and shorts combo. This shorts is super ultra mega cute! Would you believe that this shorts belong to my mom? HAHA! I'd love to have it to myself but it was my mom who was shopping when I saw this at forever21 and I was broke that moment so I just told her to buy it (I could wear it anyway :PP). Yep, we share clothes but I have to use a belt whenever I wear her shorts because she's fat. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA JOKE LANG!! A bit fatter than I am. Ok? Loveyou mommy :P

I wore this to one of our bonding/chillax nights with my cousins. We stayed at The Linden Suites and had a Body Scrub and Full Body Massage. I wish we could do that every weekend. :P I went for a very casual look since we'll just be staying in the hotel room, but this counts as one of my favorite casual looks! :DD

Think Pink

Thursday, May 23, 2013

Here I go again with another pink outfit. I think I'm starting to fall in love with pink all over again. HAHA I wore this last May 12, (mother's day) and we all had a great day, though it was a busy one. We were in a lot of places in a day! From south to north then to south again!

While I was cleaning up my closet weeks ago, I saw this cropped top and realized that I haven't worn them in ages, so I built this outfit around it. I paired it with this pink skater skirt, which matched one of the colors in my top then went for comfortable flats since I've foreseen that it would be a busy day! I felt really young, cute and very girly when I wore this. Most of the time, how you dress up affects how you feel. So always dress up light and young so you'll feel the same way!

I'm thinking if I should hold a giveaway here on my blog sponsored by Oasap, I'm still having second thoughts though. Should I? HUHU.

Feeling Dainty

Monday, May 20, 2013

Yey, I'm back at home and I've realized that I missed my room (specifically my bed) so much!!! I could lie down all day, but I can't of course, I have lots of things to do!! HAHA. Anyway, here's what I wore one afternoon when my mom, sister and I decided to go to Paseo because 1) The power's out, 2) it's freakin' hot and 3) to eat Halo-Halo! HOHO

I think dresses such as this are really for keeps. I mean, who could go wrong with such simple, cute dresses? I could stack up dresses like this and wear them everyday. When you ran out of ideas of what to wear, dresses will always be a life-saver! It's the easiest thing to wear plus it makes you look chic effortlessly!

I didn't even mind to accessorize so much because the dress already makes up the whole dainty-feeling look! And look, I'm wearing the same watch that I've worn in Red Soles, except that it's in pink now.

I wonder what's with pink that makes everything look sweet and dainty. I know that a lot of girls have pink as their favorite color, well I couldn't blame them because no matter how many colors are existing in this world, pink will always be the one color that would stay in my heart (and teal of course, but we're talking about pink here so let us set aside teal for a moment lol). Oh, btw, I love how my nails matched the print of my dress!

Huhu. Pero syempre ayoko pang magklase so I'll see you tomorrow! Okay? Mwa! I love you! :*

It's A Boy Girl Thing

Thursday, May 2, 2013

Okaaay, so how about a boyish but girly ensemble? (huh, ano dawww HAHAHAHA) Uhm, here's the thing, when I see button downs, the thing that pops immediately into my mind is "those are for guys" and I don't know why.

Even though I think that button downs are for guys, certainly, many shops proved me wrong. There are button downs available in florals, pastels, pink and so much more in girly ways. So I took one of my button downs, in floral and pink - which is totally girly, out for a spin. Hence I find this title really suitable for today's blog post, which came from a movie I recently watched. It's sort of like the movie Freaky Friday except in Freaky Friday, the mom and the daughter changed bodies while in It's A Boy Girl Thing, a guy and a girl exchanged bodies, and then they lived happily ever after. HAHA

I just picked out the color gray from my button down and have it in my tank top, shorts and sneakers. It's kind of my thing in dressing up, sticking to the colors already in my outfit, especially if I have a piece of clothing already in print or in various colors. It's easier if you do it that way, but maybe sometime, I might try and experiment wearing totally contrasting colors in one outfit. HAHA. That's the beauty of fashion anyway, experimenting and trying out new and other things.

We went to SM Sta. Rosa to go shopping when I wore this. So now you know why I am in my comfortable outfit again ;)

Brighten Up

Tuesday, April 30, 2013

I love dressing up during summers. It's all bright colors, pastels, skirts, dresses, florals and stuff. It's like all things girly, you know. And I'm really into girly dressing that's why i find it fun. Anyway I wore this when my mom, my sister and I went to Nuvali for some Brothers Burger. ;)

For this outfit post, I threw on my new bright floral sleeveless top which I've been eyeing since February. HAHA I ought to buy it the second time I went to SM Calamba last Feb. Because I am so broke the first time I saw it.  Lol. So then, I saved money for this top only to find out that it not available any more in this color. Uggh, how frustrating is that?! HAHA so the good thing is when we went to SM Sta. Rosa last March, they still have it. And I didn't have a second to waste! HAHAHA

So anyway, I added these accessories which matched my colorful top. Normally, I would go for a neutral-colored shorts to match this top, but since it's summer, and I want to brighten up, I decided to wear a colored-shorts that would match my top, and this color red perfectly went well.

I was supposed to wear heels with this but I decided not to and keep up the summer vibe by wearing this pastel pink flat loafers. It's perfect this summer and very comfotable!

Well I'm stucked in the house yesterday (and maybe most days of May) so I decided to read a book. I started and finished reading The Fault In Our Stars by John Green yesterday. All I can say is WOW. I seriously and literally can't stop myself from reading the book. It was so good!! And now I'm reading Paper Towns, by John Green as well. When I'm at home, this is all I do - read and watch and eat and sleep HAHAHA ;))

Thrills in Frills

Tuesday, April 23, 2013

I've already had this top for months now, but I only had the chance to wear it now. HAHA I've worn this when we watched It Takes A Man And A Woman. It was my second time to watch the movie! HAHA, it really is good. I think the movie's still showing in some cinemas up to now! It surely is a big hit.

I figured that this top would look good in a skirt. But I'm not actually wearing a skirt. This is a bodycon dress. It really is versatile!! I could wear it like a skirt, like a top - pair it with a skater skirt - and a dress. I love pieces such as this. I can repeat and repeat and repeat wearing them without others noticing. :)

I had my accessories match the colors of my outfit. Brown, white and black. I added spikes to make the outfit more edgy. If I've had a brown flat booties, I would have worn it with this outfit. Unfortunately, I don't have one HUHU :( so instead, I wore a brown sandals. I like how it turned out anyway. It was like bohemian in a summer vibe. ;)

Girly in Tutu

Sunday, March 10, 2013

Feeling girly girly in this outfit! HAHA I wore this last last week when we went to ATC. It's a Sunday so I wore a skirt because we will be hearing mass.

I tried to turn so many times and yet this is the best I've got. :| LOL

I wore my favorite headband to feel extra girly in this outfit.
