There are many things to look forward to in April. It's one of the hottest months of the year but it's alright because summer activities are in full swing. In Japan, it's the time when cherry blossoms are in full bloom. I can't believe that March is almost coming to an end. And this only screams one word in my head: SUMMER!! Though I'm not sure I can enjoy summer at this time of the year since we still have classes in UP because of the academic calendar shift. Our classes will not end until May. Summer have always been my favorite, and I can't believe I'm missing all the beach and summer getaway posts this year! :(

But on another note, I'm proud and very glad to announce to you guys that I'll be holding my first giveaway here on my blog!! As much as I'd hate to say it, this is the second and last day of my #ExperienceCamSurWithHavaianas. Nevertheless, we still had as much exciting activities like what we had on the first day. Here's how I started my day!! And after all that, we got to the dressing room and had a peek of how ms. Theresa Carbonel and Regine Matias do their magic for the couple who's set to have their vintage-themed photoshoot.

If you already had the chance to explore my blog and drop by the About page, you'd know by now that I really love food. I love eating, especially sweets!! So I was really thrilled when I knew that we'd have this sumptuous lunch at Chef Doy's Gourmet Restaurant -- Fusion, Flares and Twist of Filipino Cuisine. Chef Doy, a culinary genius! Imagine how much creativity and imagination it took him to come up with these extraordinary dishes. He innovated classic Filipino and Bicolano recipes into more flavourful meals. When you enter the restaurant, the first thing that'll greet you is the lavish aroma of the foods. You know that kind of feeling when the smell makes your stomach churn and would make you want to just eat and eat and eat? LOL. Is it just me or does everyone experience this??? HAHAHAHA

Avenue Plaza Hotel

One of the things I looked forward to with my #ExperienceCamSurWithHavainas is to check out the hotel we stayed in. Ms. Rose e-mailed me saying that we'll be billeted into one of the finest hotels in Naga City and I couldn't agree more; I wasn't disappointed despite my high expectations! We had a 2 day, 1 night stay at the Avenue Plaza Hotel. The lobby was spacious enough to hold guests while waiting to be checked-in. They even offered refreshments while processing and getting our key cards ready. Plus, the staff was very accommodating and friendly! :)

Day 1: Experience CamSur with Havaianas

Finally!! Here's what we did at the first day of the #ExperienceCamSurWithHavaianas !! As you've read in my previous post, the Havaianas team held A Dream Photoshoot by MangoRED for 5 lucky couples who won the raffle draw for the Havaianatico couples who color their love story with the most colorful flip-flops in the world. This event was not only most-awaited by the couples but for us, bloggers, as well. We had so much exciting activities lined up!

Havaianas Celebrates National Flip-Flops Day

It's already that time of the year when the sun just demands to be felt, and it's that exact feeling that Havaianas cannot wait to embrace and share! The world's favorite brand of flip-flops declares April 11 as National Flip-Flops Day with fun and surprises all around. It's time to enjoy the season by ditching the shoes and slipping into the different styles and colors of Havaianas!

Feel the energy and excitement as exciting discounts and promotions mark the celebration and set the festive mood of National Flip-Flops Day. Experience it all at Sta. Rosa, Laguna!

                  With flip-flops at the front and center of this celebration, Havaianas launches the Selfeet photo submission contest. Individuals and groups are invited to take selfeets (selfies  of their feet) or OOTDs, where Havaianas (@havaianasphils) will be tagged upon posting at Instagram with the hashtag #nationalflipflopsdayph. Whoever owns the winning photo gets a complimentary Havaianas pair! Be snapped and receive a Havaianas-branded item, too, when spotted wearing or fitting a pair inside the store. Get the most combined likes from Facebook and Instagram to receive a complimentary pair of flip-flops.

Havaianas takes the celebration to various offices, as employees wear flip-flops to work on April 11. They are encouraged to post photos on Instagram, use #nationalflipflopsdayph and #nameofcompany, and tag @havaianasphils. Whichever company has the most photos at the end of the day wins a snack break from Havaianas.

National Flip-Flops Day goes all out with a store-wide 20% discount only on April 11. All regular-priced items at All Flip-Flops and participating retailers are included in the promo. Have a minimum purchase of one Havaianas pair from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. to receive one complimentary Havaianas necklace. Get a pair from the Havaianas High Light or High Light II collection for a free treat from Orly, too.
