King and I

Friday, May 24, 2013

I really am so happy or even ecstatic when my mom told me that we would be watching King and I in Resorts World Manila! I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to watch another musical play in the New Port Performing Arts Theatre. The last time I watched there was already years ago, when we watched The Sound of Music and it was really great! HAHA. I think I'm already a fan of Musical Plays!! My aunt got 10 VIP tickets for free! Take note, VIP! HAHA I've been convincing my mom to watch King and I since last year and luckily, my prayers were answered! God really had a much better plan <3

The dress code says Smart Casual. And because it would be held in Resorts World Manila, I didn't think for a second that wearing this dress would be considered overdressed. I think I've already said it in my previous post that I really love to dress up whenever we go to RWM HAHA. People who go there consider dresses/outifts like this as their casual wear. LOL So they wouldn't mind even if you wear sky high heels, maxi dresses, or anything fancy because they'll be wearing the same thing and all you have to do is go with the flow!

It's one of the few events that I could attend and have the chance to wear my heels, so I would gladly take the opportunity and wear one! I missed wearing this pair, I almost forgot how elegant they look! Nude pumps really makes the illusion of longer-looking legs, its one of the many things I would list in my must-haves!

We watched last May 12, 2013, 7:00 pm. So as you could notice, I wore the same bag and watch in my previous post! HAHA. Notice the watch, from violet (in my previous post) to black! HAHA

I've had this dress for almost 5 years now and I'm glad that it still fits me. I'm just not ready to give this dress up yet. I think this is the first expensive dress my parents bought for me! HAHA

Ehem, my sister's wearing my clothes! Ahck! HAHA. I'm my mom's and sister's personal stylist as well! And sometimes, my dad asks for my help/opinion too! Hihi <3

Tri-Color

Friday, April 12, 2013

I look like a miss goody-goody in this outfit! HAHA, anyway, I wore this in my sister's recognition ages ago. I was too lazy to blog lately. I think I've never had a chance to stay at home for a whole day since the end of classes.

Well anyway, I was supposed to take summer classes but I didn't get a slot for any subject, so yeah, I might stay at home (or not) for the whole summer break. HAHA.

I just built this outfit with this blazer I got from divisoria, YES!! I shop there! HAHA the clothes there are good, its just that when you go out, its like you'll bump into people wearing the same clothes, LOL. But its fun to shop in Divisoria, all the things there are very affordable! Anyway, I just opted for a simple white dress and add colors using a tank top and a belt. Tank tops are the best, especially this summer with this kind of weather! It's scorching hot lately. I can't stay out because it feels like my skin is burning!!

Simple accessories to match my outfit and surprisingly a pair of shoes that has the same exact (okay, maybe not exact) color as my blazer. They're a perfect match!!

Smart Casual

Sunday, December 23, 2012

I wore this to an event to cheer my high school friend Kim, for their activity at APC. He said that we should wear something "smart casual", hence the title.

The first thing that entered my mind were blazers. Then I started from there. Wore a plain black tank top then paired it with this blazer I got from WAGW. You should check out their site, they offer so much fab and chic pieces! I should have worn shorts except that I will be going to a school and I thought that wearing shorts might be inappropriate so I opted for this floral pants to brighten up my outfit and so that I won't look too much plain! HAHA

I hate wearing pants, because it looks so simple and odd (and it is hard to think of a nice outfit by just wearing a simple maong pants) but I am starting to love them again because of the printed/colored denims! Wearing jeans is unavoidable and one way in which you would look very chic (effortlessly) is with this kind of pieces. I should be stacking my closet with a whole bunch of them. HAHAHAHHA

I wore a necklace to add colors to my outfit. It actually gave life to my outfit! I like it when simple pieces make a great impact to your look (just like wearing a necklace). HAHA

Wore flats because I know that we would do a lot of walking and we don't have our own car, so we rode buses and jeepneys! HAHA. I chose a green-colored flats so it would match my pants. I love this color btw, and it is really so affordable! I got them for only 200 (2 for 399) at SM Department Store.

What do you think about my Smart Casual look? :>
